To help young New Zealanders to achieve their career goals. We aim to give a leg-up, when its needed most.

The Grant application process

How it works

Step 1

Employers, young people, or their support services are encouraged to reach out to complete an application form and tell their story.

Step 2

We do some background checks. If funds are approved, we will notify the applicant and their employer. We will then work with the applicants employer to get the funds to where they are needed.

Step 3

The young person will then receive the supports (i.e a car or tools) to help them in their new job. Once the young person fulfils their commitments (over the next 6 - 12 months) and the employer signs off, they then have full ownership.

Not everything works as planned. We understand that.
If something has not worked out, or if someone needs a second chance, we want to hear about this directly and as soon as possible. This way we can help find a solution together.
